Every other page on this site is about somebody else's Prosecco. This one is about ours, and we are telling you so up front.
The Prosecco Desk is published by the team behind Bella Principessa. We could not find a Prosecco special enough to share with the people who mattered most, so we made our own, and named it after a lost portrait attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. We poured it quietly with a few select venues from 2022 and launched it properly in 2025 with the Bella Principessa Social Club. It is our attempt to bottle the thing that made us fall for the Veneto: Prosecco as an everyday pleasure, poured all day, by everyone, with no fuss and a lot of style.

The bottle
We will admit it: the bottle came first in a lot of conversations. Instead of a paper label, each one is painted like ceramic, with flowers and a butterfly. It looks good on a table, which is half the point. The other half is what's inside.
What to drink
Bella Principessa Prosecco DOC Brut. 100% Glera from the Treviso DOC. Brut means the drier style; our own release puts it at 12 grams of sugar per litre, the top of the Brut range, so it is crisp without being austere.
Bella Principessa Prosecco DOC Rosé Brut. Glera with Pinot Noir, the blend the Prosecco Rosé rules allow. Also Brut and 11%. In Florida, Luekens Wine & Spirits in Dunedin lists it at $19.99, or $17.99 on sale.
We have no critic scores or awards to show yet. When we do, they will go here with their sources. Until then, judge it yourself.
