Prosecco at Kroger

Kroger and its banners sell Simple Truth Italia Prosecco, about $13 to $14, and name brands mostly $14 to $16, often on sale. Seen October 2026.

Thousands of supermarkets under a dozen names, one shared catalogue, and a Prosecco shelf where something is nearly always on sale.

Kroger sells Prosecco under its own name and under a long list of banners, from Ralphs and Fred Meyer to King Soopers, Fry's and Harris Teeter. They share one online catalogue, so a bottle you find on kroger.com will usually turn up, at a slightly different price, on your local banner's site too. The shelf is mainstream and reliable: Mionetto, La Marca, Kim Crawford, Freixenet, Josh, and Kroger's own Simple Truth Italia Prosecco. Most 750ml bottles sit between about $14 and $16, and a surprising number were marked down when we looked.

Our picks

These are judgements from appellation, style and price. We haven't tasted these bottles for this page.

Best under $15: Mionetto Prosecco Treviso Brut DOC, about $14.99. A labelled DOC in the drier Brut style, and when we looked it was marked down from $25.99. At full price it's a different conversation, so watch for the sale.

Best DOCG: Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore, Valdobbiadene DOCG. The only DOCG we found in the Kroger catalogue. We didn't capture a price, so check your store.

Best Rosé: Mionetto Rosé Millesimato Prestige, about $14.99. A vintage-dated Prosecco Rosé in the Extra Dry style, under $15 when we checked. La Marca Rosé is the same price and comes in 187ml minis too.

Best for a party: six bottles on the mix-6 offer. We found no magnums or multipacks. When the "10% off when you buy 6" wine deal is running, six bottles of Simple Truth or Riondo make a sensible, cheerful party.

If you see it, buy it: Riondo Prosecco Spumante DOC Extra Dry, about $13.99. A labelled DOC at under $14 without needing a markdown to get there.

Exclusives and private labels

Simple Truth is one of Kroger's own brands, and Simple Truth Italia Prosecco appears on at least five banner sites. The listing says it's made from DOC-region grapes and describes a dry finish. We couldn't find out who makes it for Kroger. Judge it as an own-label Prosecco at about $13 to $14: priced just under the big names.

Buying tips

  • Your banner is Kroger. Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Fry's, QFC and the rest share the catalogue. If a page here says Kroger, look for the same bottle on your banner's site.
  • The sale tag is the story. Many Prosecco listings showed a "was" price. If your favourite isn't marked down this week, it may be next week.
  • Ask about the mix-6. The 10%-off-six wine offer recurs, but terms and dates change. Check your store before you build a case.
  • Bring ID to the door. For delivery an adult must be home with ID, and must sign.
  • Extra Dry is everywhere here. Freixenet, Riondo, Korbel, Martini and both Rosés are Extra Dry, which is a little sweeter than Brut. For dry, reach for the Mionetto Brut.
