Trader Joe's own Prosecco DOC is $8.99, with DOCGs from Asolo and Conegliano Valdobbiadene under $12. Calsecco is not Prosecco. Checked October 2026.
A small, rotating Prosecco shelf with DOCG prices that look like typos, as long as you don't mind going in person.
Trader Joe's sells wine the way it sells everything: a short list, a lot of its own label, and prices that make you check the tag twice. The Prosecco section is small and it changes, so think of this page as a field guide rather than a stock list. What we can say is that Trader Joe's own Prosecco DOC has held at $8.99 in reviews from 2024 and 2025, and that two Superiore DOCGs have been reported on the shelf for under $12. You'll have to go and look, because Trader Joe's doesn't do online orders.
One thing first. Trader Joe's also sells Calsecco, and the name invites confusion. Calsecco is a California sparkling wine. It's not Prosecco, which can only come from a defined area of northeast Italy. Enjoy it by all means, but buy it knowing what it is.

Our picks
These are judgements from appellation, style and price. We haven't tasted these bottles for this page.
Best under $15: Trader Joe's Prosecco DOC Brut, $8.99. A DOC Brut for under nine dollars, at a price that held steady across two years of reviews. Reviewers report that the back label names a Zonin company as the producer.
Best DOCG: Cecilia Beretta Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut, about $11. Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG in the drier Brut style, for about the price of a mainstream DOC elsewhere.
Best Rosé: Daccordo di Dacci Rosé Prosecco 2025, $16.99. Organic, vegan and vintage-dated. It's not a Trader Joe's exclusive, as the reviewer notes, but it's the most specific Rosé we found here. Cecilia Beretta's Rosé is the budget alternative, if you find it.
Best for a party: a few bottles of Trader Joe's Prosecco DOC. No magnums or multipacks turned up and there's no case discount, but at $8.99 a bottle you hardly need one.
If you see it, buy it: Villa Antica Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG, under $9. An Asolo Superiore DOCG for less than nine dollars is exceptional value. It's Extra Dry, so a touch softer than Brut.
Exclusives and private labels
Trader Joe's Prosecco DOC is the store's own label. The back label, as reported in reviews, names a Zonin company as the producer. Calsecco is also a Trader Joe's label, but it is California sparkling wine, not Prosecco. We couldn't confirm whether Villa Antica and Cecilia Beretta are sold only at Trader Joe's.
Buying tips
- Buy it when you see it. The range rotates, and the bottle you loved in spring may be gone by autumn.
- Check the store page first. Not every Trader Joe's sells wine. The store's page on traderjoes.com tells you.
- Read for "DOC" or "DOCG". That's how you tell Prosecco from Calsecco and other Prosecco-style sparkling wines on the same shelf.
