Prosecco at Total Wine

Total Wine's Prosecco aisle runs from about $12 to $30, with Winery Direct labels like La Vostra. Prices seen October 2026, plus our picks.

A deep Prosecco aisle, from everyday Brut to magnums, with a house section of Winery Direct labels you won't find down the road.

Total Wine & More is where you go when you want choice, and the Prosecco shelf delivers it. We found bottles from about $12 to about $30, DOC and DOCG, Brut and Extra Dry, a magnum, and a Rosé. The catch, if it is one, is that some of the most prominent bottles are Winery Direct labels, which Total Wine sources through its own partnerships and which may not show up elsewhere. That is not a bad thing. It just means you need to know what you are looking at, which is why this page exists.

Our picks

These are judgements from appellation, style and price. We haven't tasted these bottles for this page.

Best under $15: Rondel Prosecco Brut DOC, about $14.99. A labelled DOC and a stated Brut, without a sale doing the heavy lifting. Mio Sole, a Winery Direct DOC Brut, is the alternative when it's at the bottom of its range.

Best DOCG: La Vostra Prosecco Superiore Brut, about $17.49. A dated Superiore DOCG in the drier Brut style, and in a mix-6 it drops to about $15.74. That is DOCG for the price of a lot of DOCs.

Best Rosé: Valdo Marca Oro Brut Rosé DOC. A DOC Rosé in the Brut style, so it leans dry rather than sweet. La Vostra also has a Winery Direct Rosé if you'd rather stay in-house. We didn't capture a price, so check your store.

Best for a party: Borrasca Prosecco DOCG, 1.5L, about $35.99. A magnum of DOCG makes an entrance, and it holds two bottles' worth for a couple of dollars more than two singles.

If you see it, buy it: Bisol Jeio Brut DOC, about $15.99. A Brut DOC from a well-known name, and about $14.39 when it's part of a mix-6.

Winery Direct, explained

Winery Direct is a filter on totalwine.com, under "Expertly Sourced". Decanter describes it as a set of partnerships that give shoppers wines that may not reach other retail channels. In October 2026 the filter held about 34 to 37 Prosecco items. La Vostra is the big one, with 11 Winery Direct products including a Prosecco, a Rosé, a Superiore DOCG Brut and a Demi Sec. Mio Sole has one.

What is Total Wine's thinking? Forbes reported in 2024 that Robert Trone said the company avoids private labels and prefers to market small family producers. At least one wine blog describes Winery Direct wines as private label anyway. We couldn't confirm that claim, and Total Wine doesn't publish who makes each Winery Direct wine, so we won't guess. Judge the bottle by what's on the label: DOC or DOCG, Brut or Extra Dry, and the price.

A footer promotion offering 15% off eight or more Winery Direct wines turned up in a snippet. It may have expired, so ask in store.

Buying tips

  • Use the mix-6. Most Proseccos here show a price about 10% lower when you buy six, and you can mix bottles. Six is a party, or a month of Tuesdays.
  • Read the style twice. Borrasca is filed under both Extra Dry and Brut on the site. Extra Dry is the sweeter of the two, despite the name. When in doubt, check the back label for "Extra Dry" or "Brut".
  • Rewards are not universal. &MORE Rewards points work differently state by state. In Massachusetts, for example, rewards can be spent only on non-alcohol items.
  • DOCG costs a few dollars more here, not ten. At Total Wine, the gap between a good DOC and an entry DOCG can be under $5.
