In Kentucky you go to Liquor Barn for bourbon. Everybody knows that, including the people who work there. But walk past the barrel picks and you'll find a Prosecco aisle with more Italian names on it than most supermarkets manage, from a Tuscan house's Extra Dry to an organic DOC to a Superiore from the Valdobbiadene hills. Here's what's on it, what it costs, and which bottle to grab for which occasion.

• Under $10: the Piccini Extra Dry, at a price low enough that it may be a sale. Grab it if it's still there.
• $12 to $14: White Knight, Santa Marina, Van Dori, IL Prosecco and the Mionetto Rosé, when it's in stock.

Best under $10: Piccini Prosecco Extra Dry, $6.96 at Springhurst (24 Oct 2026). Piccini is a Tuscan family house better known for Chianti. Extra Dry is a touch softer than Brut, which makes it a happy brunch Mimosa base at a price that removes all guilt.

Best Brut: Poggio Costa Prosecco DOC Brut, $14.99 at Springhurst (24 Oct 2026). One of the few bottles on this shelf that names both its DOC and its dry style. Pour it with country ham.

Best Rosé: Mionetto Prosecco Rosé, $12.99 at Springhurst (24 Oct 2026), when it comes back into stock. Until then, the La Marca Rosé at $16.98 does the job.

Best organic: Alberto Nani Organic Prosecco, $15.99 at Springhurst (24 Oct 2026). For the friend who reads every label.

Best for a party: Benvolio Prosecco 187ml, $4.99 at Springhurst (24 Oct 2026). A single glass in each bottle, no pouring, no flat leftovers. Derby Day sorted.

If you see it, buy it: Altaneve Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene DOCG. The one Superiore we found on liquorbarn.com, from the steep hills where Prosecco is at its most serious. We didn't see a price, so ask.
